I am thrilled to have been selected by BookSneeze to be a blogger for the Women of Faith Conference in Atlanta, GA. I have always wanted to attend a Women's conference and now I am able to do so. The website is great, it allowed me to research the women that will be speaking and I am so excited to be a part of this.

Nick of Time

The story is very engrossing. Nick is a refreshingly original sleuth, and the murder mystery that captivates him to the point of forgetting about the girl he’s left behind in a town where she want to honeymoon with him. I also did not expect to learn so much about bugs from a man who does not like to be arounf people very much. He has a small group of people that he can tolerate but is learning that he needs people more than he realized. The characters were well built and had great depth. I know that this Nick of Time books are a series, so I am going to to have to grab some of the other books and check them out as well.

Max on Life

Because of the wide variety of questions, I believe that this book would be helpful for every Christian, whether new or have been a Christian for a long time and I would recommend it. It is a great read and he has a way of making you think like you normally wouldn't. This book is very insightful and answers many of those questions that we wonder about. Anyone, from anywhere, and at any walk of life could find something useful and pertaining to their individual situation. Max writes about the role of prayer, the purpose of pain, and the reason for our ultimate hope.

A Cowboy’s Touch by Denise Hunter

Abigail, who is used to the big city of Chicago, is sent out to Montana to de-stress and check on her elderly great-aunt. Wade, the cowboy in the title, is a widower who has run from his past, and is caring for his young daughter, Maddy.
Through an unlikely set of coincidences, Abigail volunteers to serve as a nanny for Maddy over the summer. Anyone who has read Denise Hunter’s other books knows that this will not be a typical widower/nanny romance. Ultimately, Abigail must face a difficult ethical choice involving Wade and the family business.
This story does a fine job of illustrating how Christians and non-Christians wrestle with ethical issues in our daily lives. It is enjoyable and easy to read. I highly recommend it.
I received this book free from the publisher through the BookSneeze.com book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

An Amish Love

A wonderful reading experience. Learing about what true courtship is makes me want my daughter to have that experience. I know, I know, it won't really happen but A mom can pray that her experience will be amazing. A trilogy of love stories that express so much joy and happiness. In “Healing Hearts,” Naaman Lapp decides he needs to take a break from his family. After thirty-one years of marriage, Naaman leaves to visit some family, not knowing when or if he’ll return. Levina doesn’t understand why her husband left and is further confused when he returns eleven months later. The Amish faith requires her to forgive but can she truly forgive Naaman? When a sheriff comes looking for her husband, Levina wonders if he returned on his own or came seeking refuge. Can she trust him again? Ellie Chupp loses her sight in a car accident in “What the Heart Sees.” This same accident kills Christopher Miller’s fiancĂ©e and he leaves the community, angry that the one responsible wasn’t punished. Five years later he returns only to find out his sister is engaged to the man who was driving the car. Can Christopher learn to forgive as Ellie has done?

The Way Home

Dean Cain played an amazing role in this film. He really made you feel what he was going through. A boy goes missing while under his fathers supervision and a whole town rallies. It is a movie for the whole family and teaches so many lessons. Be there for others. Always have your faith, and never waiver on it. I received this movie free from booksneeze and I am so glad I got the opportunity to watch it. It is amazing. I have recommended this movie to many people already. The message that the story is sending is clear… faith that God would not let you endure more than you could handle, and with God’s will, all will be right again apart from the child and spousal negligent message. God does not give you more than you can handle.

Max Lucado - Outlive Your Life

I am a book reviewer for booksneeze and I received this book free and I enjoyed it and hope that many people read it and enjoy it too because it is wonderful. Whether you yourself is struggling or your neighbor is he is there to lift us up and remind us that we can do for ourselves and for others no matter what our aituation is. He reminds us that our goal is heaven but we have to live our life as the best we can be from earth. Max Lucado is a great author and he has written another wonderful book that challenges us to be active in our surroundings and to join in our community to be the best we can be. It is wonderful to be challenged in this way during these hard times.
